Meet FRO
We’re three Black women who believe that Freedom Radiates Originality. We shine brightest when we wear our hair in styles that feel authentic to us — natural or otherwise — and when our hair is healthy, happy and on point.
We first met at school (Amma and Steph) and university (Amma and Liv), and our friendship has grown through all the moments in between — from endless laughs and coming-of-age adventures to weddings and, most recently, welcoming a little one into the world! One of the strongest parts of our friendship has been bonding over our hair journeys — the mishaps, the glowups, and navigating scalp issues like dandruff and seborrhoeic dermatitis. Those experiences made us realise just how much the health of our scalp can impact how we feel about our hair.
So, we combined our professional skills, lived experiences and creative energy to build FRO. FRO creates naturally derived, scalp-first solutions for curly hair that are vegan friendly. Our products are designed to prioritise scalp health, support healthy hair and inspire hair confidence.

Liv is a barrister, festival organiser and all-round community builder. FRO was born from her deep love of culture: beauty, music, fashion & sports. She sets the vision and brings limitless energy to the team.
Stephanie
Consultant · Pilates teacher · Master organiser
Stephanie is a business consultant by day, Pilates teacher by night. Multi-talented and seriously organised, her business savvy, zen energy and elite project management skills keep the rest of us ticking.
